Michael Mike Thomas Peaden

Mike served in the United States Army and retired from Whiting Field as a Plane Captain in 2009 following 25 years of devoted service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, refinishing antique furniture and was an avid reader. Mike’s favorite hobby after retirement was spoiling his beloved grandchildren whom he loved very much.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 35 years, Beverly Ann Peaden; his daughter, Jessica “Jamie” Snider of Milton, FL; his son, Christopher R. Peaden of Suffolk, VA; his five beloved grandchildren, Giavonna Peaden, Haley Rhodes, Allona Rhodes, Shawn Rhodes Jr and Arianna Rhodes; his brother, George B. Peaden of Milton, FL; and many other friends and relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 10:30 AM at National Cremation & Burial Society. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the service hour. Inurnment will be at Barrancas National Cemetery at 12:30 PM with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.

National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
