Leroy Malone Jr.

Leroy Malone Jr, age 81, of Milton, FL, passed away April 1, 2016. He was born March 14, 1935 in Jackson, MS. Leroy later moved with his parents and sister, Nancy to Pensacola, FL where he attended Escambia County Public Schools. When Leroy was 13 years old his mother gave birth to his younger brother Raymond. Leroy was brought up in church (Southern Baptist). On December 23, 1957 Leroy married his first love Gladys (Sis) Simmons, together they had 2 children, a daughter Barbara Ann and a son, their son having passed away shortly after birth. After the death of Gladys August 30, 1999 Leroy met and married his second love Pauline Carlton June of 2000. Leroy was preceded in death by infant son, wife Gladys (Sis) Malone, parents, Leroy and Queenie Malone, sister, Nancy Sprouse and daughter Katrina, second wife, Pauline Malone.

Survived by daughter, Barbara A. Plant (Derwin) their son Sean T. Plant brother, Raymond Malone (Janet) nephew Chad Malone and his family niece Andrea Woodcock and her family, nephew, Steve Sprouse, step children, Patricia Hance, Mark Sytnik, Chet Sytnik and their families and his precious little dog, Jezzie.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at 7 PM at National Cremation & Burial Society with Rev. Frankie Godsey officiating. Interment will follow later at Memory Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 PM until the service hour.

National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
