Virginia Frusco, age 85, of Miller Place, passed away on April 11, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Brooklyn to the late Robert and Lillian Martino, Virginia's journey was one of love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Virginia was reunited with her beloved husband George, with whom she shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and commitment.
Preceded in death by her brothers Anthony and Albert, those left to cherish her memory are her devoted children, Dawn Shallis and George Frusco (Jennifer Brock); her cherished grandchildren, Rory, Steven, Alex, Anthony, Nicholas, and Maks; her beloved great-grandchildren, Lucas, Wyatt, and Theo;
Virginia was known for her dedication and hard work, having served as an accountant for American Express and the New York Racing Association. Beyond her professional life, Virginia found joy in various hobbies, including playing slot machines in Las Vegas and Atlantic City, indulging in a good book, and enjoying Friday night dinners with her dear friends from the community of The Vineyards of Miller Place.
Family was at the heart of Virginia's life, and she delighted in upholding cherished traditions. From making honey balls at Christmas to engaging in high stakes Bingo games during holidays, Virginia always made sure to create lasting memories with her loved ones. She had a special tradition of taking each family member out for his or her birthdays, ensuring that everyone felt cherished and celebrated.
Virginia Frusco's presence touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and warmth. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
