Thomas John DeGennaro

A visitation for Tom will be held on Monday, December 18, 2023 from 3-7pm. A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at St. Louis de Montfort church in Sound Beach at 10am with an entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Coram.

Tom was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend to so many. He is survived by his loving family: wife, Elaine; son, Steven DeGennaro and partner Allison Itterly; daughter, Denise Campos and son in law Anthony, grandson, Oliver Gennaro Campos, his little helper, and brother Alex DeGennaro and wife Ann. He is predeceased by his parents Laura and Alex DeGennaro.

Although he was a quiet person, he had a hugely impactful presence. He showed love and kindness through his actions and generosity. Everyone’s first call when they needed help, perhaps with their car, electrical, plumbing, home repair, taxes, financial advice…he always answered, and had the right tool for the job. He will be so missed.
