Reunited with her beloved Thore of 62 blissful years. Margaret leaves behind her beautiful family, devoted mother of Susan Boos and her husband Don, Nancy DiVito and her husband Drew Pallas, and Thore Peterson and his wife Jen. Cherished grandma of Brittany, Donny, Kerri, Jill, Kirsty, Hamilton. Adored great-grandma of Madison and Kailey.

Margaret was a vibrant light that will be missed by those who knew and loved her. Margaret enjoyed playing games that employed much strategy and skill like bocce ball and sudoku. Watching Hawaii-Five-O with Detective Captain Stephen "Steve" McGarrett solving cases and Blue Bloods with Commissioner NYPD Frank Reagan's witty lines and family dinners on Sunday, relaxing with a good read and lets not forget Margaret's special talent for puns.

Most of all Margaret was loved by her family, more than words can ever say.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A prayer service will occur Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 11:00 AM. An interment will occur Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
