A beloved husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, and a friend to many, John lived a life full of joy, adventure, and deep faith. He leaves behind his loving wife, Terry, with whom he shared a beautiful journey filled with love, laughter, and a shared passion for exploring the world. Together, they traveled far and wide, visiting Japan, Germany, Switzerland, China, and Australia, and enjoyed countless cruises that created memories to last a lifetime.
John was a proud and loving father to Kathy Spiteri (Mario), Terry Jenik, Jack Vanderborg, and Maureen Cimino (Tony). He was a treasured grandfather to Michelle Groth (Nick) and Joann Argutto (Sal), and a devoted great-grandfather to young Matthews, whom he adored.
A devout Catholic, John found strength and guidance in his faith, which was a cornerstone of his life. He also believed in living life to the fullest. Whether he was playing tennis, pickleball, cornhole, or boccia ball, John approached every activity with enthusiasm and a competitive spirit. He was an avid card player, a proud member of his local bowling league, and a lover of big band music, often found tapping his foot to a swing tune.
John’s vibrant spirit, kindness, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during visitation hours on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O. B.
