Wally Osborn, 77, passed away at home in Spanish Fork, Utah on February 17, 2019. He was raised in Salt Lake City and graduated from Highland High School in 1960. He served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Northwestern States Mission from 1961-63.
He attended the University of Utah where he courted and married Ann Nordberg in the Salt Lake Temple in 1964. They moved to Spanish Fork to work and raise a family. He and his brother George owned and operated Utah Sportswear, a clothing and manufacturing business among other enterprises.
Wally enjoyed being with his family; training, riding and showing cutting horses; skiing and spending time outdoors.
He has served his community and church ward members in a variety of ways. He and his wife have enjoyed their time serving together as ordinance workers in the Provo and Payson temples.
He was preceded in death by his parents Margaret and Bill Osborn, a brother Paul and an infant sister Julia. He is survived by his wife Ann Osborn and children: Wil (Traci), Andy (Shaunda), Amy (Joey), Nicole (Ben); eleven grandchildren; his brother, George, and sister, Susan.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22nd at the Spanish Fork 6th ward meeting house 585 North Main, Spanish Fork, Utah beginning at 11:00am with a visitation from 9:45-10:45. There will also be a visitation Thursday evening the 21st at Walker Mortuary, 187 South Main, Spanish Fork, Utah from 6:00-8:00 pm. Interment will be in the Wasatch Lawn Cemetery, Salt Lake City, Utah.
