Sherri Matthews

Sherri was born on February 7, 1953 in Salt Lake City, UT to her parents, Florence and Edward (Ted) Matthews. She was the second of five children. Her siblings are Steve Matthews, Nancy Matthews, Celeste Robison, and Robert Matthews.

She worked as an administrative assistant at the University of Utah for many years. She enjoyed scuba diving, travel, and time spent with family. She was very devoted to her faith and enjoyed doing genealogy work and frequenting the LDS Temple. Sherri was full of life and love. She was a kind hearted woman who spread warmth to those around her.

Sherri is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Sabrina West; her son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Crystal West; her daughter, Camille West; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Matthews; and her parents.

Sherri will be laid to rest on Saturday, November 18, 2017. A short graveside ceremony will be held at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park promptly at 1:00 pm. The ceremony will be held outside so please dress for the weather, casual attire
