Our beloved Father, Son, Husband and Friend passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, March 19th 2017. Shane was born to Robert and Doris Tafoya in Salt Lake City, Utah where he resided his whole life.
Shane was a hardworking man and did everything in his power to provide a wonderful life for his family. He was highly accomplished in the field of architectural woodworking. His career as a Master Craftsman provided the opportunity to travel the world and his work can be seen from Salt Lake to as far as Dubai. He was well regarded in the Hot Rod Community and had many notable cars that he “garage built” with his father and friends. His other passions include cycling, music, snowboarding and camping with friends and family. He pursued every endeavor with loyalty and passion. His wit and charm made a lasting impression on everyone he met. To say he will be missed is an understatement.
Survived by his family; Robert, Doris and Noelle Tafoya. His wife Carrie Tafoya. His daughters Kaylyn, Natalie, Tiffiny and his granddaughter Ava Rivas. As well as his first wife Lori Proctor Preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Tafoya.
We would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that cared for him until the end. A special Thank You to his Lost Souls Family. He loved you all very much.
