Sandra Lea Lamb

1938-2017

Sandy Lamb died at home May 2nd, 2017, of cancer at age 79.

Born March 8, 1938 in Springfield, Missouri, to Nina Lucille Barclay and Joseph Otis Strong. Married David Richard Lamb November 17, 1961, in Overland Park, Kansas. Ordained Elder and long-time member of Cottonwood Presbyterian Church in Murray, Utah.

Preceded in death by her parents, Stepfather Robert W. Beattie and an infant daughter. She is survived by her husband David, children Jeffrey Jay Lamb (Angela), Amy Kathryn Seely (Paul), Grandchildren Christopher Lamb (Chelsie), Jenifer Shepherd (Derrick), Spencer Lamb, and Zachary Lamb, Great-Granddaughters Rylee and Kennedy Lamb, and Lyncoln Shepherd, Great-Grandson Cooper Lamb, and Sister-in-law Georgia Turek, all of the Salt Lake City area. Also survived by Step-Grandchildren BreeAnne Hammond (Taylor), and Eric Gustafson. Step-Great Grandchildren Averie Anne, Nash and Chevy Hammond, Nephew Andy Turek (Tanya) and Niece Amanda Ryan (Daniel).

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, May 13, at Cottonwood Presbyterian Church, 1580 Vine Street, Murray, Utah 84121. Rather than flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Cottonwood Church Memorial Fund, or to a charity of your choice.
