Robert is survived by his siblings; MaryAnn, Teresa (Rubel), Linda (Gary) and Anthony. He is also survived by many nephews’ nieces, and cousins. Preceded in death, his parents and brother Vincent.
Robert worked many years in the food industry, positions ranging from a Sous Chef to restaurant management for multiple hotels, his last place of employment was the Hyatt Hotels in San Diego, California. When he learned of his father’s illness, he opted to move back home and care for his elderly parents.
Robert enjoyed traveling and taking tons of pictures to cherish family memories. Robert thrived on acclimating his parents to travel to places like Mexico, California, visiting family members, visiting canyon parks or just to watch him ski in the snowy mountains of Utah. He enjoyed his sisters and cousins, creating fun memories during the holidays or at family reunions, fireworks every 4th of July, parades with his nephews, and nieces or taking them to Lagoon for fireworks and enjoying the rides all day long. Most important was the ‘time ’he spent with his family. Robert loved life itself. Something to always remember about Robert were the sacrifices he made in his own life to give to others, he had a huge heart to help people who were in need, even if he didn’t know them. After his parents passed away, he had many health issues, and in the end Covid19 took him. It brings us comfort knowing that he lived his life to the fullest making memories and capturing those moments along the way, this describes who Robert was and especially those that gave him a chance to get to know him, he truly loved his family!
The family would like to thank the ICU Unit at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden Utah for being such brave soldiers who did all they could to help Robert beat the illness.
