Robert S Gilchrist

Robert (Bob) Sydney Gilchrist 91 years of age passed away on June 4th, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 18,1932 in Lehi Utah to Robert Sydney Gilchrist and Lorane Ingersoll Gilchrist. He married Sharlet Adam's April 29, 1960 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He graduated from East high school in Salt Lake City. After graduation he joined the US Navy and served from 1952-1956. After attending community college he began his career as a food broker covering Utah, Arizona and Wyoming. He loved playing and coaching baseball. He was an avid golfer who spent every Saturday on the golf course, spring through fall, and entered many golf tournaments along the way. He also loved dancing with his amazing wife Sharlet. As a diehard University of Utah fan he enjoyed the years spent as a season ticket holder to the Utes football games. He leaves behind his daughter Sheree Gilchrist Weixler (Rob), grandson Crayton Weixler (Alexis), granddaughter Isabelle Weixler, great grandson Siggi Weixler, Son Scott Gilchrist, grandson Sam Gilchrist, granddaughter Zoie Gilchrist. He will be missed. Graveside service will be held on Monday June 10th, 11:00 a.m. at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery 3401 S. Highland Dr. Millcreek, UT 84106.
