Richard Byron Wetherell (Dick), age 92, of Salt Lake City, Utah passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.
Dick earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah. Dick entered the Aerospace Industry, retiring as a Navy Program Manager. At 62 Dick started his 2nd career as a Ski instructor at Solitude Ski Resort retiring at age 86. Dick traveled with his wife Lois to Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
Dick had many interests, golf, skiing, bridge, HOA board, etc. Dick had many friends that he met throughout his careers and hobbies. Dick loved visiting with family through activities and family occasions. Dick is preceded in death by his parents Lynn and Blanche, wife Lois and granddaughter Aleah. Dick is survived by his brother Michael (Robert) his sister Sandra (Joe), Children Diana, Steve (Wendy), John, grand-great grandchildren Shawnie (Michael), Allison, Courtnie (Kyle), Jaysa and Rorie
