Lewis Patrick “Pat” Cooper, 51, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. He was born on January 10, 1973, in Columbus, GA to parents Jackie Rondell Cooper and Sarah Louise (Wilson) Cooper. He was a 1991 graduate of Dimond High School and a graduate of ITT Technical Institute. He worked as a drafter at Van Boerum and Frank Associates for 20+ years where he made life-lasting friendships.
Pat was passionate about music, he was in multiple bands throughout his life, playing drums and singing. He was always singing and talking about his favorite songs and bands. Everybody loved him, he would walk into a room and the atmosphere would change. He had a way of making every person feel comfortable around him.
He is survived by his daughter Caelan Cooper, his son Connor Cooper, his mom Louise Cooper, brothers Tim Cooper and Matt Cooper, and sister Donna Nelson.
A morning visitation for Pat will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. A funeral service will occur Thursday, May 23, 2024, at 11:00 AM, 3401 S. Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah 84106. An interment will occur Thursday, May 23, 2024, at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W. 4100 S., West Valley City, UT 84120.
