Michelle was born on April 5th, 1973, to parents Melvin and Lourdes “Lou” Smith in SLC Utah. She graduated from West High School in 1991, eventually going on to study Business Manegment at Grand Canyon University, graduating with her Bachelors degree.
Michelle was employed to the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) for eight years, eventually becomig a Trax Train Operator for the last six. She went on to win an international lightrail competition, crowning her the title of “Rail Rodeo Queen” in 2019.
Throughout her battle with cancer, she dedicated as much time as she could to her children, family, friends, and UTA family; all of whom she truely valued and loved. Michelle also pursued her passion for traveling, and graphic design by creating t-shirts for her loved ones.
She is survived by her siblings, Meloni Nebeker and Melvin (Matt) Smith; and her children, Marcus Webster, Meesha Smith, and Marcelina Griffin.
