Marjorie Ann Smith, age 71, died June 27, 2014 in Salt Lake City. She was born Oct. 4, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to James W. and Marjorie Jane Granger Smith. She worked for the LDS Church in the Family History Department for over 37 years. Marjorie liked to travel and enjoyed going on many cruises. For many years she enjoyed decorating a tree for the Festival of Trees, that benefited Primary Children's Hospital.She is survived by sisters Nancy Jean Smith and Kathy Petersen, four nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Forestview Ward, 1111 E. Charlton Ave (2800 South). Friends may call at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 Highland Dr. Tuesday 6:00-8:00 pm and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the ward. Interment will be at the Wanship Cemetery.
