Lynda was born August 10, 1946 to Paul Arnold and Verda May Angell in Salt Lake City, Utah. Lynda Married David Baker on November 25, 1968 in Salt Lake City, Utah and together they raised three daughters. Janette, Jennifer and Janine.
Mom’s journey home brought her family together Saturday night. Bet you were surprised! Your grandkids talked about how you made them rake the leaves and mow your lawn. Giving them a strong work ethic they took to their adulthood. Guess what - that work ethic is going to help walk you to your resting place. 4 out of your 7 grandkids are honored to do that for you.
Lynda is survived by her daughters Janette Bell (Jeremy Garcia), Janine Hughes (Michael), twin Brother Lynn Angell, sister R’Lee Jarvis and 7 grandchildren. Alex, Eric, Hazel and Kasie Bell. Joshua & Jonah Marquez and Michael Hughes. Lynda Is preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry, husband David, daughter Jennifer Marquez (Jorge), grandson Jason and grandchildren that are waiting on the other side of the veil as well numerous other family members.
Lynda was able to go through the temple last May 13, 2022. How fitting to be welcomed home on her 1 year, one day anniversary.
Lynda’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff and residents of the Holladay Health Care Center where mom resided for the last several years. Seeing how loved she was by the staff and residents and the outpouring of sympathy and memories are something we will cherish.
We would be foolish to not also thank Nancy and Sarah Angell for their love and care of Mom. They were truly Angel’s in their love of her. They stepped in and loved and took care of Lynda. Thanks for keeping mom supplied in her Diet Dr. Pepper’s, taking her places, visiting with her and just loving and being there for her.
