Our beloved daughter, sister, friend and dog mom, Lori Sanfelippo, passed away on September 27, 2024 at University of Utah Hospital after a brief 6 week battle with cancer. She was born May 25, 1967 in Salt Lake City, UT to Cid and Linda (Hardman) Sanfelippo.
Lori graduated from Skyline High School in 1985. She loved to play sports including softball and volleyball. She attended classes at the University of Utah and had worked at Wells Fargo Advisors since 1991.
Lori loved her pink 1967 Ford Mustang and spent a lot of time at various car shows with her friends and family.
Lori was very talented at many kinds of crafts but her passions were cross stitch and photography. She won many ribbons at the State and County fairs for her projects. She loved cooking, gardening and decorating her home for every holiday. She was a devoted dog mom, was obsessed with all things Pirates of the Caribbean, loved to watch all the crime dramas and was recently obsessed with the series Supernatural.
Lori loved all things Disney, her favorite places were Disneyland and Hawaii. She loved to spend time with her sister, whether it was a quick road trip, a weekend in Disneyland or just hanging out watching TV or making crafts.
Lori was kind, loving, generous and selfless. The world is a little less bright without her shining light.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother Chris. She is survived by her father and her sister Jamie (Dave) Mansfield and her beloved dogs.
Services will be held on Saturday 10/12 at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation at 2:00 followed by a graveside service conducted by Brother Earl Dallon with remarks from friends and family.
The family would like to thank Lori’s friends Marianne Waldram and Kelly Miller for their support during her brief illness.
A light luncheon will be served at 4:30 at the Bennion Utah East Stake Center located at 5980 South 1300 West - Taylorsville, UT.
