Linda Ellen Spencer Nance passed away peacefully on March 27, 2023. Linda was born on July 15, 1942, in Hollywood, CA to George Owen Spencer and Ellen Beyler Spencer. Linda was the oldest of six children and was adored by her younger siblings. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1960 and was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On July 1, 1960, Linda married her soulmate, Alton Bruce Nance, Jr. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. They enjoyed many years of marriage and were blessed with six children. After almost 19 long years, Linda has been reunited with her sweetheart. Linda loved and cherished her family. She was a much-loved wife, mother, grandma, aunt, cousin, sister, and daughter. Linda always put others before herself. She had so many friends that were very special to her. Linda enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and crafts, and she was a talented artist. She loved creating gifts, baking goodies, or making a meal for her family and friends.
Linda is survived by her children, Brenda (John) Hubbard, Tamera Nance, Lisa (Kevin) Mantz, Terri (Eric) Thomas, Michael (Jessica) Nance, and Matthew (Rachel) Nance, 22 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her siblings, Kent (Sarah) Spencer, Debby (Eldon) Thomas, Denise (Brian) Petroff, and Steven Spencer. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce, her parents, her sister, Karla, and her sister-in-law, Lena.

Visitation for all family and friends will be Friday, March 31, 2023, from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm, followed by a graveside service at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Millcreek, UT. Internment: Wasatch Lawn.
