Laramie was born Wednesday, August 8th, 1979 in Sandy, Utah, and passed away on Friday, March 20th, 2020 in Salt Lake City. Laramie’s school days at Willow Canyon Elementary and Esperero Canyon Middle School were the best! Laramie was in cub scouts, he loved skateboarding, snowboarding, and hanging out with his many friends in Sandy, Utah, and Tucson, Arizona. Laramie’s family owned a cabin in Wyoming, in which they shared many adventures and irreplaceable memories. After high school, Laramie married his high school sweetheart Stacey Peacock and they shared one daughter together; Tylie Ann, born in 2003. He obtained his Associate of Science degree (A.S) in Administration and Management at Salt Lake Community College shortly afterward. Laramie lived in many places after school including Alpine Wyoming, the Bay Area, and Las Vegas. In Las Vegas, he invested in and co-owned Allure, where he used his skills in marketing, business management, and medical sales to operate a high-end medical spa. Laramie enjoyed participating in sobriety marathons, church involvement, traveling, golf, MMA fighting, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and krav maga (Israeli hand-to-hand combat.) He had motivational speaking engagements in more than 180 high schools. Recently, Laramie helped remodel the family home on Coatsville Ave with his brother Cody and nephew Jordan. He is leaving behind a large group of family and friends who will remember the way he touched their lives. Noreen Thomson, his mother; Bill Huntzinger, his father; Cody Huntzinger, his brother and his son Jordan; Sam Huntzinger, his brother; Tylie Huntzinger, his daughter; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Colter who passed on April 27th, 1995. Laramie’s gifts were many. All of his family and friends will miss him more than words can express. He will be remembered with so much love and appreciation for his kind, thoughtful, hard-working, and passionate spirit and desire to make everyone happy.
