Kevin was born in Kingman, Arizona on October 28, 1947. He grew up in Las Vegas with wonderful parents and three brothers who he loves. He spent a couple of years at Church College of Hawaii before transferring to BYU. He had life-changing experiences on his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Ireland. He was involved in church activities all his life, with the highlight being his association with the Young Single Adults.
Kevin met his future wife Jan (Underwood) at BYU, but it wasn’t until after college that he convinced the love of his life to date him when they were both in Salt Lake City. Their 46 years of marriage had all the happiness and sorrow, challenges and fun of a true adventure. Their greatest joy is their family, and their lives were centered around their four children, three daughters-in-law, son-in-law, and 12 grandchildren whom they love without measure.
Kevin loved his work as a Real Estate Broker for Berkshire Hathaway and always said he would work until he died, which is exactly what he did. He was on the phone providing support with one of his agents just a few days before he drifted away. His associates in the real estate world became another family whom he loved and mentored. He could talk to anyone, and genuinely connected with people everywhere he went—including the hospital staff. His sense of humor and storytelling were legendary, and his optimism, wisdom and love were a blessing to everyone he knew.
Jan and Kevin loved to travel the world together. Jan wishes she could have gone on this journey with her best friend but looks forward to the time when she can join him.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Jan, his children Taylor (Ashley), Jordan (Emily), Landon (Amee), Adri (Max), and grandchildren Ollie, Paisley, Sophie, Colter, Laird, Quinn, Fiona, Weslie, Leo, Liv Indy and Aidan; His three brothers, wonderful in-laws on both sides of the family, and many dear friends who consider him family.
