Keith Bringhurst

Keith Pierce Bringhurst passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016, at the age of 80. He was born January 19, 1936 in Murray, Utah, the eldest son of Henry Pierce and Orpha Adams Bringhurst. He was an Eagle Scout and avid boater. He began his working years at a young age when he took a paper route, and he worked for Safeway for 35 years, starting out as a bag boy, and moving up the corporate ladder to become an executive as Promotions Coordinator. In later years he was a bus driver for Murray School District. He married Jeanette Rawson Bringhurst on February 18, 1957 in the Salt Lake Temple and later divorced. Keith is survived by Jeanette, his children, Steven (Angela), Shauna Whipple, Sherry Morrison, Linda (Brad) Burgess, Michelle (James) Jackson, Michael, Lynette (Nick) Hulse, 30 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren with more on the way, and brother Lynn (Diane). Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Karen, Gayle, and grandchildren Brittany, Bradley, and Cody. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016, at the Winder 8th Ward Building at 1361 East 4000 South, Salt Lake City, UT. A viewing will be held before the services from 11:30 to 12:45.
