Justine Goddard Kelsey was born 15 Apr 1942 in Salt Lake City the daughter to Ralph Henry Goddard and Mildred Beatrice Kowallis. She died 20 Aug 2023 at the Holladay Healthcare Center. She graduated from Olympus High School in 1961 and after a short period of working she married Stephen Kelsey on 24 June 1965 in the Salt Lake Temple. Stephen had just completed his BSChe and they left the day afterward for Pampa, Texas, where he worked for Celanese. After living there for a year and having their first child they moved back to Salt Lake City. They had 4 more children and she taught primary, Sunday school, and Cub Scouts. She was a loving and tender mother to her 5 children, Lydia Creager(Kim), Richard(Theresa), Bruce(Azalas), Mary Kelsey Hugoe(Sean) and Julie. Her religion was very important to her as an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. Justine was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Goddard and Mildred Kowallis Goddard as well as her brother, Reed Goddard, and sister-in-law, Jean Goddard. She is survived by her husband, Stephen J. Kelsey, sister, Louise Goddard, 5 children and their spouses, 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A Viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah, 84106 on Thursday 24 Aug from 6 pm until 8 pm. There will be a morning viewing at Cottonwood 12th Ward, 1750 Spring Lane in Holladay, Utah, on Friday 25 Aug 10 am-1045 am. The funeral will follow at 11am. Burial will be at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah, 84106.
