Julie A. Lobb our wife, mother, sister, nanny, and friend passed away on July 17th 2015 surrounded by her family. Julie’s time here was not long enough for those who loved her. She may have left too soon, but her beautiful soul left us with countless memories for us to look back on.
Her brown eyes sparkled and her beautiful smile could light up any room. All who spent time with her could feel her warmth. If there were anyone in need, she was there. In her lifetime she spent countless hours talking, guiding, counseling, consoling, and giving hope to anyone who came to her. It is safe to say that she cared so much for others that she forgot to care for herself. And although ultimately her failing health stole her from us too soon, it wasn’t before she left a mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Julie married her best friend and soul mate, Richard Lobb, June 7th 1973. Rick loved his Sweet Pea deeply. Since Julie was young she has been at his side. Married for 42 years Rick and Julie shared countless moments with family and friends listening to music, playing cards, camping, vacationing, and spending time in Mesquite – living life and laughing hard.
Along with her husband, Julie raised her two children, Mishay and Matthew, in a house filled with a lot of love and a lot of laughter. She taught them to be proud of who they were, to stand by their convictions, to always be honest, and to always come from a place of integrity. She loved her family with every ounce of her being, and we will miss her immensely.
For now we will find comfort in the rain, and when the sun shines again we will laugh, love, and live knowing she is right there with us – brown eyes shining, smiling brightly watching her family from above.
Survived by her husband Richard, daughter Mishay (Dan) DeCort, son Matthew Lobb (Ashley) and four grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held July 22nd at 11:00am at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive Salt Lake City Utah.
PS: We love you Nanny, so so so so much! Love your Grandbabies
