She was the third daughter to William Richard and Alice Hearty Johnson, born December 8, 1943.
Mom grew up by Liberty Park telling us all kinds of stories about Denver Street and the shenanigans that she and her girlfriends would do when she was a young girl.
Mom graduated from South High School and was married to our dad. She had three daughters of whom she was so proud of, and given any chance, would talk about us.
She was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and after retiring from working, our mom served 10 years on Temple Square on a service mission meeting people from all over the world and loving every single minute of it.
Our mom loved to cook and bake. She often would disappear into the kitchen and start making something because she had seen a commercial on tv and it looked good.
Our mom had a quick wit that she came by naturally. She was a funny gal and was always up to telling or hearing a joke. She loved to laugh!
Mom had a special relationship with each of her 7 grandchildren and loved each of them dearly.
Mom leaves behind her three daughters; Kris (Scott) Andersen, Annette (Larry) Jenkins, and Lynnette (Rick) Lucking. Her grandchildren; Jamie, Brandon, Chad, Jill, Cory, Brady, and Krista, as well as her 14 great-grandkids. Mom also leaves behind many dear friends that she has had for over 50 years and called them family. Mom is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Alice, sisters Wilma and Merle, niece Melinda, and great-granddaughter Zoe.
We would like to thank Dignity Hospice, Jessica, Maria, Drea, Nichole, Diana and Dr. Tschetter for their loving care to our mom.
