Recksiek, 83, passed away June 15, 2013 at Cottonwood Creek Senior Living She was born August 8, 1929 in Herne Germany to Andreas Gaertner and Emma Jebram. She married Werner Recksiek on October 19, 1949 in Bielefeld Germany; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

After she married Werner they immigrated to America in 1950 and established the Mount Olympus Clock Shop in 1959 where she worked at her husband's side until his death. Helga remained a widow for 26 years. She loved her family dearly and was a devoted friend to many and will be sorely missed by them. Helga was a faithful member of the LDS Church and worked for many years in the Family Record Extraction. She is now at peace, relieved from her pain and suffering and experiencing incomprehensible joy with the long awaited reunion with her eternal companion, Werner and her eldest daughter Marian. We will truly miss her and with all of our hearts bid her "Auf Wiedersehen".
