Georgia Draper

Mother was born in Springville, Utah October 20, 1925 to Harriet Jane Saris (Gygi) and Steve John Saris, who preceded her in death. She married Dee L. Burrows June 23, 1943, later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple. She had 2 children, Sheila Burrows Durfey and John Dee Burrows (deceased), one grandchild, Michael Sean Durfey (deceased), Dee preceded Mother in death in 1961. In 1963 mother married Vern Thomas Draper, who passed away in 2002. She is survived by sisters and brother- in- laws, and many nieces and nephews.

Mother loved to bowl and was an avid golfer. She served as librarian in her ward for many years and served in other church callings. She most of all loved being with her family and friends. Mother was loved by all of those who knew her. Mother also belonged to a social group known as “Friends” and loved to play pinochle. Mother was a hair stylist for many years and owned two salons - one on 2300 East and 3300 South, Salt Lake City, Utah and the other in her home.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:00am at the East Millcreek 15th Ward, 3750 South Hillside Lane (2600 East). Friends and family can visit Thursday evening 6:00-8:00pm at Holbrook Mortuary, 3251 South 2300 East, and
