Gary Higham

Our beloved father, grandfather and companion was taken from us on August 28, 2012 after a 5 year battle with leukemia. Born in Salt Lake City, Utah on May 29, 1932 to Ambrose and Marguerite Higham.

Gary was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and worked for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union for over 50 years. He lived life with a smile on his face enjoying woodworking, fishing, bowling, travel, dancing, family and creating laughter and love everywhere he went. His final days were a struggle and the family would like to personally express our gratitude and thanks to his many friends who helped out as well as the medical facilities where he was cared for and finally, his companion, Lou Fisher who spent every waking moment by Gary's side.

Survived by his 3 children, Steven Higham (Delilah), Sandra Lamb (John) and Shauna Lubrani. (Greg), a sister, Margene Ragle, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren and his "Little Lou-Lou". Gary is preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Joy Riley, his parents and brother, Ralph.
