Elizabeth Amelia Anderson Bennion passed away peacefully at the age of 95 on December 2, 2014 in Bountiful, Utah. She was born on August 19, 1919 in Bennington, Idaho to Lehi J. Anderson and Sarah Leah Laura Anderson. She married LeGrand Bennion on September 9, 1946 in the LDS Salt Lake Temple.
Amelia was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed participation and sharing talents in Church Auxiliaries and membership in Daughters of Utah Pioneers both in Nevada and Utah.
She is preceded in death by husband LeGrand (Deceased 1979), parents, brothers Elliot Anderson and Lehi Joel Anderson. She is survived by her children Norm Bennion (Cathy) and Lauralee Hansen (Carl), 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel (3401 S Highland Drive) at 10:30 am with a viewing beginning at 9 am. Interment to follow services.
