Diane Hutchinson

Passed away Friday July 29, 2016, at the Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born April 16, 1947 in Salt Lake City to Abraham E. Hutchinson and Lydia Leona Hopkinson Hutchinson. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served for many years as an ordinance worker in the Salt Lake and Jordan River Temples. Diane had many hobbies and interests, she especially loved to travel and explore new places. She worked at the University of Utah Hospital, AARUP and the State of Utah.

She was known for her generosity and loving disposition. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sister Jane (John) Garvey of SLC; and brother Lynn (Helga) Hutchinson of Evanston, WY.

Her smile, friendly countenance and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She will be especially missed by her 17 nieces and nephews, and 27 great-nieces and nephews ; Aunt Diane has been their extra mom, who always showed up and supported them.

The family would like to thank the staff at Intermountain Medical Center for the caring service provided to Diane in her final days.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2016, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Wasatch Lawn (3401 S Highland Dr, Salt Lake City, UT).

Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the East Millcreek 4th Ward (3103 E Craig Dr, Salt Lake City, UT). Those wishing to visit with the family may do so before the services from 10:00 - 10:45 AM. Interment will follow the services at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 E Dimple Dell Rd, Sandy, UT).
