Born March 20, 1954, in Mount Pleasant, Utah to Henry Leon Kelson and Delores Lund Kelson. She married her adoring second husband, Robert Lee Youngblood Sr. MD, on January 27, 1989. She had four children with her first husband; Amber (Tony) Pittl, Ryan (Shanna) Allen, Megan Allen, Tina Allen, and beloved grandchildren whom she treasured.
She graduated in Brighton High School’s first graduating class prior to obtaining her nursing degree from Weber State University. She was a wonderful nurse and esthetician. She loved caring for people and making them feel beautiful. She loved gardening, handicrafts, flowers, sewing, and treasured her beloved children and grandchildren. She was a loyal member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved serving in her many callings in Primary and Sunday School. She was a regular attendee at church meetings, loved music and learning.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Amber, and son-in-law Tony.
A special thanks to her husband, Dr. Robert Youngblood, daughters Megan LMT, and Tina RN for their many years of endless love and caregiving, and to all the other special people and caregivers who made her life more comfortable. Our family is forever grateful.
Everyone loved being around the special energy she radiated. She loved flowers, so any flower contributions to the services are welcome and will be much appreciated by her family.
Viewings will be held in the evening on Sunday, April 3rd between 5 and 7 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, Millcreek, Utah, and at 10 a.m. Monday April 4th at the Cottonwood 1st Ward Chapel, 5913 South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah, prior to the funeral services which will begin at 11 a.m.
