Cory worked as a superintendent for Harper Precast for 13 years, and loved what he did.
Cory loved his family and friends with all of his heart and was always there for everyone. He had the most contagious smile and laugh; he lit up every room he walked into. His biggest accomplishment was his son, Sergio, who he absolutely adored. His granddaughter, Mayliee was the light and joy of his life and he loved being a "Pappy." Cory was a family man and always put them first. His mommy Jane was the most important person to him, followed by the love of his life, Ashley. Cory will be missed by all, but his legacy will live on with his son, Sergio.
Cory is survived by his parents, Jane and Dan Himes, son Sergio Himes, granddaughter Mayliee (MayMay), brother Anthony Himes, and wife Ashley Jewell.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Bill and Joyce Himes and Raul and Jean Morgan.
Services will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive in Millcreek, Utah.
