Christopher Taggart Barton, Adored father, son, brother and uncle passed away on October 11, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona from a massive brain aneurism. “Tag” as he was known by, was born December 26, 1975 in Denver, Colorado. He will be remembered for his kind heart, playful personality, love of family and friends. He was a fighter to the end. A member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served a Spanish speaking mission to Boston, MA. He attended Salt Lake Community College and UVU. His passions were his 4 year old daughter, Presley; music – creating, listening and dancing to it---; snowboarding and sharing his love with others. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Mary Barton, 5 siblings: Laurie Hoer (Mike), Cheryl Barton, Bryon Barton (Dianna), Mike Barton (Alyssa), Katie Hoskin (Joe); and 25 nieces & nephews. True to your nickname “Persh”, you are precious to us and will be remembered every day. A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Wasatch lawn Memorial Park, 3401 Highland Drive Salt Lake City, at 12:30 pm followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 pm.
