Cameron Charles Hinton, age 34, passed away June 14, 2020 in a tragic car accident entering a westbound onramp on I-215 near 2000 E. Cameron was born on July 7th, 1985 to Sylvia Barney and Michael Hinton.
Cameron wasn’t afraid of hard work, his work ethic was unparalleled. Throughout his life he’d held jobs most would run from, and all with a smile. He’d hung from the tallest buildings as a window cleaner, helped manage busy restaurants, and prepared meals for patients with varieties of special diets and needs.
Cameron enjoyed time with friends, camping, fishing, and working out. Cameron was selfless and always willing to help. He brought an ecstatic lively presence to any room with his bright smile, he was someone who carried a heart of gold on his sleeve. Cameron's beard was his pride and joy, and like his beard, he was always trying to grow and improve as a person.
Cameron is survived by wife Sierra Stout and fur babies Jay, Patrón, Gia, and Fiona; parents Sylvia Barney (Brent Barney) and Michael Hinton; siblings, Alex Hinton Kuba (Kat Kuba), Taylor Hinton (Bonnie McBroon), step-siblings Jenna Anderson (Jeremy Anderson), and Shana Sherlund (Erik Sherlund), 5 nephews, 1 niece. He is preceded in death by grandparents; Louis Nelson, Erma Nelson, as well as Glendon M. Hinton Sr., and Erma Hinton.
Outdoor services will be held in his honor at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary, 3401 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84106 on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11:00 am.
