Brenda Ann Badham returned to her Heavenly Father on August 6th, 2015. She was born in Malden Bridge, New York, to Mary Cecelia Bowen and James Carl Morrison on March 25, 1940. Brenda graduated from Brigham Young University with a major in vocal performance. After graduating from BYU she met her sweet husband, Leon. They married on June 20th, 1964, in the Los Angeles Temple. She viewed motherhood as her greatest calling. She taught her children to love the finer things of life; especially that of music and the arts.She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She found great joy in studying the Gospel and was often called as a teacher in the Church.She enjoyed inspiring children to love learning and was gifted in teaching in a way that any child could understand.She was known for her grace, for her ability to see the good in others, for her refinement, and her beautiful smile. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leon. Survived by her daughters: Becky (Rick) Jaster, Stacy (Mark) Sumsion, Kendra (Andrew) Baxter and Sara (Dustin) Howell. Grandchildren: Cameron, Kaitlyn, Devin, Lauren, Nathan, Benjamin, Ethan, Brooklyn, McCallister, Dannon, Quincy, Alexander, Elizabeth, Lily, Arza, Simeon, Peter and Sela, and her sister Joan (Greg) Andrus.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at the Canyon Rim 1st Ward Chapel, 3000 Grace St. (3100 E.) where friends may call from 9:30-10:30 am prior to the service. The family will receive friends at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 S. Highland Drive, from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday evening. Interment to follow at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
