Joseph F. Kearney, Jr. (Joe) 93, born 7/13/21 in Scranton, PA to the late Joseph and Mary Kearney, passed away on 1/18/2015 in Elgin, IL. Joe was a WWII Veteran and served in the US Air Force as a Gunner. He was retired civil service from Tinker AFB in Oklahoma. For 61yrs. he served in every capacity with the Knights of Columbus, retiring after 29 yrs as Financial Secretary with counsel #4026 in Midwest City, OK in 2008. He was very devoted to his family and to his church, St. Philip Neri. He was preceded in death by his Wife of 66 yrs., Mildred in 2014. Survivors include his children: Joseph, Thomas, Kathleen (Dan) and Patricia; grandchildren, Brian, Tracy, Jennifer, Scott, Laura, Erin, Sean and many great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, 1/23/15 from 6-8 at Paylor Family Funeral Home in Midwest City. Mass of the Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015 at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, followed by interment at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
