Tom is survived by his wife Madeleine; sisters Beverly and Katie; brother in laws Steve and Harvey.
Tom received his BS from Randolph-Macon college. Later he completed his master's degrees from William and Mary, and Virginia Commonwealth University. Tom joined the Army Reserves retiring after 26 years of service. He was employed by the Department of Defense completing his last assignment as an instructor at the Department of Defense college at Fort Belvoir VA.
The simplest pleasures in life brought joy to Tom. He loved a quiet evening with friends, especially over good food and wine. Home, family and friends were his happy place.
A service will take place on December 22, 2023, at 11AM at Woody's Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road.
