Robert Ray Sheppard

SHEPPARD, Robert Ray, 73, of Richmond, Va., owner and president of Security Corporation, passed away October 16, 2010. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Scott Sheppard. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Ann Sheppard; daughter, Sharon Lynn Williams; son, Eric Nelson Sheppard and his wife, Angela; daughter-in-law, Luz M. Sheppard; six grandchildren, Jason Williams, Christopher Sheppard, Sarah Sheppard, Jackson Sheppard, Brooks Sheppard and Hayes Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard will be missed by all of those who lives he touched. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd., where services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. Entombment will be private.
