Mary Jane Thorn Kibler

Mary T. Kibler, 73, of Chesterfield County, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, October 31, 2016. She was born November 19, 1942, in Baltimore, Maryland. She graduated from Milford Mill High School in Baltimore, Maryland. She was married to Dennis Paul Kibler on August 4, 1984 in Chesterfield, Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Dorothy Thorn; sister, Patricia; and brother, Joseph.

She is survived by her husband Dennis Kibler; daughter Donna and her husband Kevin Patton; daughter, Cheryl and her husband Doug Camden. She was also survived by her brothers: Robert and his wife Mary Lou Thorn; Thomas and his wife Mary Thorn; and her sisters: Barbara Thorn; Nancy and her husband Glenn Crawford; and Dorothy and her husband Dale Hicks. She had 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She loved to yard sale and shop at thrift stores. She enjoyed cross stitch, crocheting, crafts, and going to the gym. Christmas was a very special time of the year, where she decorated the entire house with her collection of Santa Claus’. She had a huge passion for gardening and yard work, not only in her yard, but for friends and family.

A service will be held in her honor at 11am on Saturday, November 12 at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel, Midlothian, VA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Bon Secours Hospice. Online condolences can be made at woodyfuneralhome.com.
