She is survived by her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Keane of Midlothian, Virginia and Joan Keane Buenaventura of Santiago, Chile; her nieces, Mary Isabel Buenaventura Keane and Margaret Ana Buenaventura Keane, both of Santiago, Chile; and her nephew, Maximillian William Buenaventura Keane, also of Santiago, Chile.
Margaret was a teacher and an Educational Diagnostician, who touched the lives of many children. She taught for many years in New Jersey and Chesterfield County Public Schools in Virginia. She was an avid tennis player for many years, a pet lover and a theatre enthusiast.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Brandywine, 11210 Robious Road, North Chesterfield, Virginia, 23235 (Four Seasons Room) on Friday, January 12 at 2:30pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in her name to The St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, based on her dedication and love for children.
