She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Alexander W. Czajkowski; her parents, Louis and Marie Eason; and her brother, Louis "Red" Eason.
She is survived by her 4 children, Janet Dupler (Bill), Alex Czajkowski (Alice), Stephanie Mulvaney (Barry) and Casey Czajkowski (Stacey); 10 grandchildren, Brian, Maggie (Layne), Lauren (Kevin), Alex, Erik (Stephanie), Thomas (Katie), Neil (Kayla), Emily (TJ), Jacob (Nicole) and Daniel; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was known for her love of the south and her passion for her family. She was a true southerner and loved everything about the south - the bayous, the smell of magnolia blossoms, crawfish, gumbo and jambalaya. After marrying Alexander, they were blessed with four children - Janet, Alex, Stephanie and Casey. The family had the opportunity to live in various cities due to her husband's job, San Antonio, TX, Chattanooga, TN, Salem, VA and finally settling in Richmond. Despite the moves, Lorraine always made sure her loved ones and those around her felt special and appreciated. She had a way of making everyone feel important. Lorraine will be remembered for her dedication to her family, her excellent culinary skills, and her talent in sewing - she loved sewing almost as much as she loved her family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A memorial mass will be held on Monday, December 18th at 12 pm at the Chapel of St Edward's Church, 2700 Dolfield Dr, North Chesterfield, VA 23235.
