Kayla Danielle Johnson

Kayla Danielle Johnson, 24, of Midlothian, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jerry Threatt; and aunt, Barbara Johnson. She is survived by her parents, Geraldine and Calvin Johnson; brother, Trevor Johnson; grandmothers, Betty Livingston and Dorothy Johnson; and numerous extended family members. Kayla loved listening to music, balloons and cartoons. A celebration of Kayla's life will be held on Saturday, November 12, from 5 - 7 pm at Woody Funeral Home. Interment will follow at a later date at Sunset Memory Gardens in Charlotte, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that balloons be sent. The family would like to thank Kayla's Homebound Teacher, Trish Angle; neighbors and friends, Art and Beth Conner; the Homehealth nursing team; and a special thanks to Martha Wiggins.
