Karen Leonard Wilkerson

Karen Leonard Wilkerson, 75, passed away on January 14, 2024 at home surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, B.C., who lovingly cared for her during her illness. She is also survived by her daughter, Katie McCarthy and husband Doug; her son, Steve Wilkerson and wife Beth; four grandchildren, Campbell McCarthy, Palmer McCarthy, Mac Wilkerson, and Charlie Wilkerson; her selfless friend, Susan Diggs, and her faithful dog, Doodle. She was a remarkable woman; known for her warmth, gentleness, and loving manner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Thelma Leonard and her brother, Brent. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 20, 10:00 am at Woody Funeral Home Huguenot Chapel. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 11:00am. A private internment will take place at a later date.
