She was preceded in death by infant daughter April Lynn Petty, and parents J.D. and Frances Williams of Eli Whitney, NC. Survivors include her loving husband Donald L. Petty; son Lee Petty of Midlothian, VA; brothers Butch Williams of Huntersville, NC and Spike Williams of Eli Whitney, NC; and numerous nephews and nieces.
The biggest joy in her life was her family, and she enjoyed taking many trips with her mother and aunts.
A service will be held for family and friends at Center Methodist Church, 9204 Center Church Road, Snow Camp, NC 27349.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Center Methodist Church.
