Judith Morris Manning

Judith Morris Manning of Henrico, VA, loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 17th at the age of 89. She was born on July 21st in Richmond, VA. Judy was preceded in death by her father, Hugh L. Morris, and her mother Mary A. Morris. After graduating from Thomas Jefferson High School, Judy attended Richmond Professional Institute where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1956. She had a lifelong love of cats and enjoyed the companionship of several feline friends over the years. She also had green thumb, raising lush houseplants and beautiful outdoor flower gardens throughout her life. Her other hobbies included painting, crafting, collecting antiques, and exercise classes at the Tuckahoe YMCA. Judy is survived by her son, R. Bradford Manning, daughter in-law Jennifer B. Manning, and grandson Spencer D. Manning. A celebration of life will be held in early 2024 at Woody Funeral Home, Huguenot Road Chapel, exact date TBD.
