February 1, 2011. In Jared's short lifetime he inspired those around him with a smile that always melted their hearts. Though he never spoke a word, his voice and feelings could always be heard and understood by those that loved him. He possessed an inner strength that reminds us that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create a lasting memory. Jared loved to cuddle and spend time watching Disney movies with his constant favorite buddy, Mickey Mouse.
Jared is survived by his mother, Audra Stahl and her husband, Dan; his father, John Padgett, all of Richmond; maternal grandmother, Sherry Padgett of Midlothian; great-grandmother, Margaret McCray of Richmond; aunt, Melanie Thompson and her husband, Patrick, of Richmond; aunt, Christina Padgett of Blandford, Mass.; great-aunt, Bernice Cunningham and her husband, Dick, of New Jersey; great-aunt, Sandy Padgett of Richmond; and cousins, Charly, Mickey and Mackie, all of Richmond. The family would like to thank the Stahl family for all their kindness.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road. Online condolences to woodyfuneralhome.com.
