HARKINS, James Michael, 19, of Richmond, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Stephen W. Harkins. He is survived by his mother, Janice N. Harkins; sister, Emily H. Gold and her husband, William; and their daughter, Abigail of Cleveland, Ohio; also numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. James graduated from Trinity Episcopal Schools, International Baccalaureate Program. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011, at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7757 Chippenham Pkwy. Richmond, Va. 23225. The family requests that the burial be private.
