James is survived by his loving parents Jessica and George Charters and his beloved sister Julia Charters, as well as many family members and friends that adored him.
James was a boy with a heart of gold. He would go out of his way to make sure everyone else had what they needed. James Zachary was happy making others happy. He enjoyed wrestling, Boy Scouts, gardening, the beach, and camping in the great outdoors. He spent every minute he could with his family. He loved cuddle time with his mom and especially loved working on his truck with his dad. James was a huge fan of Five Finger Death Punch and an excellent Nerf Gun marksman; his sister can attest to that.
Our hearts are forever broken and our home will NEVER be the same. James Zachary, our only son, our baby boy, you will be missed and are loved dearly forever.
The family will receive friends Saturday, June 13, 2020 from 2-6PM at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home 1020 Huguenot Rd. and where a celebration of his life will be held Sunday, June 14, 2020 at 12:30PM. Interment will follow at Westhampton Memorial Park 10000 Patterson Ave. Richmond, VA.
