George Paul Brengel Jr.

He was born in Long Island City, N.Y., he was the son of George P. Brengel and Mary Ellen Volmer Brengel.

He is survived by his wife, Anne Heslin Brengel; his three children Carol Lawrence (Jim) of Elma, N.Y., Dr. George R. Brengel (Liz) of Midlothian and Steven J. Brengel (Joe) of St. James, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Scott, Jeff, Beth, Kyle and Todd and eight great-grandchildren.

Mr. Brengel was a graduate of Huntington High School, Huntington, N.Y. He attended Alfred University, Alfred, N.Y. and was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for Grumman Corp for many years as a Mechanical engineer.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at St. Matthias' Episcopal Church, 11300 W. Huguenot Rd. Midlothian, Va. 23113. Interment will take place at 2 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd. Amelia, Va. 23002.
