Born in Trieste, Italy, her family moved to the United States during the 1930’s, and resided in Chicago, Illinois. After attending school, she worked in business and as a part-time model. Soon after, she met her husband, William M. Jordan, while she was at the Buckingham Fountain for a day of fun, and he was on a day of leave from the Navy Pier. It was love at first sight, and then a love story of marriage and family through all her years.
Florence, fondly known as “Flo,” is survived by her loving daughter, Courtney Jordan, and numerous relatives. She will be remembered for her great personality, and as a gifted woman of love, beauty and strength.
Her remains rest at the Huguenot Chapel of Woody Funeral Home, located at 1020 Huguenot Road; Midlothian, Virginia.
Services will be private.
